Soy Milk and Cookies

I love lattes.  I love cheese.  I love ice cream.  I love melted cheese on ice cream.  Well, maybe not, but I might, if I tried it.  Sadly, that dream may be coming to an end.  I am now starting a lactose-free diet — the first and only diet I have ever voluntarily been on (i.e. that wasn’t for a procedure).  I don’t know what I’m going to do.  “Soy milk and cookies” just doesn’t have the same ring to it.  “Pepperoni cheese pizza….. but hold the cheese” sounds depressing, and slightly doofus-y.

Oh, tummy.  The things I do to make you comfortable.  I hope you remember this when I’m old and gray and really, really want cheesecake.

Day 3

Today, we began the day slowly.  Well, that is to say, we left to go golfing pretty late (for us), around 11/11:30 a.m. or so.  We did a round of 9 holes, then went home for lunch. Continue reading

I skip it cuz I love it so

In the morning, I’m a very picky eater.

Whatever I eat usually can’t contain: milk, eggs, can’t be too sweet, can’t be too plain, can’t be acidic (no juices unless I’m having a bread product), and definitely can’t be sour.  Usually if I eat something, it’s probably bad for me and isn’t exactly going to propel me through the day.  😛   Now you know why most days I skip eating in the mornings!

On the other hand, if I’ve managed to have something small after waking up, about an hour later I can eat any breakfast food.  Except sour.  I still dislike sour.  haha.

Ironically, I love breakfast foods.  Life can be cruel!  😉
