The Inconstancy of the Mind

Isn’t it interesting when we look back at people we, at one point, thought we loved?  So much could have changed since then, but to think we wanted our souls to be entwined forever with them….. it’s humbling to the power of the mind to move on.  For me, it makes me wonder if I can ever believe myself.  Should we always be aware of these potential changes?  Or should we pretend what we think now is what we will always think?  Or is what we think now all that matters?
