Winter Den (2006)

.

.

huddled in caves
forlorn thoughts abounding in minds
unaware of the expanse
and frequent occurence
most others have sat
scratching their heads for a hint
all their paths intertwined
.
secretly stealing a glance from afar
a chiselled romantic
or hopeless devoted
tires treading thin nearing dreams such as these
a childhood perhaps
or frightening scene
has displaced our person
and likely will worsen
for they’ve all dispersed in
our collective, severed, and bonding careen
.
.
